Symbols
1. The Goddess, Gaia, is a symbol in itself. Gaia is a personification of the Earth. The translation from Latin of Gaia is "Earth". Gaia also represents abundance, luck, appreciation, insight and the promise of nature. Gaia is believed, in Greek traditions, at the beginning of time to have extended out in order to form Earth's land. They believe that as a result of this she is able to maintain life to all matter on Earth.
2. Likewise, Gaia is symbolized by the saying "All is One with the Universe." This saying is used like a metaphor of the earth and the people within it. The earth is a large organism and we are parts of this organism; we are not separate. Along with that, the earth is also just a part of an even bigger organism. Our earth is like a tree with roots that extend through the universe. Everything is interconnected. It also seems that this saying could be talking about the food chain; if one thing ceases to exist, everything gets effected.
3. Gaia is also thought to be represented through harvested foods. In which she gives life and sustenance to on the planet, even when the cold weather tries to take away that life.
